Knowledge Entry Test

 

Students who wish to enrol in one of the Bachelor's degrees in the School of Political Sciences can take the entrance test or entry knowledge test on one of the available dates, either from home (test@home) or at the university (test@university).

Registering for the test is mandatory and it is possible through the TURUL application (https://ammissioni.unifi.it) during the relevant periods indicated on each date. The test is in Italian.

There is also an administrative fee of €30 to be paid in the manner that is given at the end of the registration. The fee is non-refundable even in the case of non-participation in the test.

How the test works

The test consists of 40 questions divided into 3 sections: Text comprehension, Background knowledge of general culture; Logic, reasoning and mathematical language. Once you complete the three sections, there is a further section of 30 questions related to the knowledge of English.

The test has a total duration of 105 minutes, divided proportionally among the disciplines.

Test results

The test outcome will be announced on the dedicated page using the credentials created at registration.

The test is passed if a score greater than or equal to 15 points is reached.

 

Additional educational requirements (OFA, obblighi formativi aggiuntivi) for those who fail the entrance test

If the outcome is less than 15, you will be assigned Additional Educational Requirements (OFAs). If you have been assigned OFAs, you will not have to retake the entrance test but will have to take a remedial self-test.

Failure to complete OFAs will result in the inability to book online and register for curricular exams.

Any additional educational requirements arising from failure to pass the entrance test must be fulfilled by studying the course material and taking an online self-test which will be available at the following webpage https://ammissioni.unifi.it/ENTER/

Reservation is mandatory via the TURUL application

After taking the test, regardless of the outcome, the student can immediately access the online service to book the examinations.
