The contemporary course of 9 credits, is distributed in 3 sections of 72 hours of lessons. It is aimed to give the student a profound knowledge of political, social,economical and cultural aspects of European and Extraeuropean history from 1848 until today

will be examined by the point of view of social, politic and economic peculiarities of world, european and Italian areas.

Course program - Last names O-Z
The course will have three modules. The first module will investigate mondial trends, and european identity. Particular attention will be gave to nation building in Europe and expecially to the Italian Risorgimento and to Italian development until first mondial war(1848-1919). The second module will investigate age in which modern Fascism, real communism and Totalitarianism made their appearance, until second mondial war, with particualr attention to italian fascismus(1919-1948). The third module will investigate the post-age of Totalitarianism, the age of cold war, and the last part of XX century, in the world, in Europe and, particularly in Italy (1948-2004). The students who have regular participation will have specials issues.
