Professor Tarchi meets the students every Monday and Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Changes will be communicated through the website of the Scuola di Scienze Politiche.
Type of Assessment
Oral final examination, to verify the acquired knowledges and the student's abilities in the following fields: logics, use of theoretical categories to analyse empirical case studies, trough some questions and a discussion of matters included in the programme of the course.

Political communication. The Mass media and their role within the political system.
Models and effects of the interaction between political élites and media.
Political languages, rituals and symbols. The electoral campaigning. Political communication and civic culture: the danger of the birth of the "homo videns".
