Transmit the basic information on:
- the social and poltical transformations related to the new forms of urbanization;
- the tradition of urban sociology and the recent disciplinary proposals of analytical tools
Basic train to the use of this knowledge for the construction of research designs

Type of Assessment
Oral examination verifying:
a) the acquired knowledge, on the social transformations related to global urbanization, on the urban sociology tradition and most recent analytical tools;
b) the capacity to use them to build research designs.
To the attending students will be proposed exercises concluding in written reports, valued from 0 to 10. The oral examination on the institutional programme (lecture notes) will be hence valued frm 0 to 20.
