Therefore it became necessary to review all the agreements previously stipulated with companies and/or organizations. All the companies interested in hosting interns will have to request the drafting of a new agreement by accessing the online service and following the procedure as a new company. The activation time for the new agreements will not exceed 30 working days.

Internship search

Through the University St@ge online service it is possible to autonomously identify internship opportunities that best suit individual needs and the course of study, bearing in mind that it is possible both to adhere to already "active" internship opportunities and apply for an internship with institutions or companies partnering with University.Once entered the database, complete your profile in the application form. There are different ways to search for companies in the University database:- by "study area" in the "Search for opportunities”form, by entering the requested data, it is possible to view only companies or institutions having "active" and concrete internship opportunities at the time of the search.- by “activities” indicated with the Ateco 2007 classification code developed by ISTAT. The Ateco code groups companies into several categories. For instance, code 99.00.00 identifies the list of companies in the "Extraterritorial organizations and bodies" sector. In this way, the list of all companies partnering with University will be displayed, including those companies which might welcome interns even though they are not proposing internship opportunities at the time of the search. The search of the company by activity, in the "company search" section, is the most complete and fast way to find companies in the database. To this end, to find the Ateco codes relevant to the School Degree courses, please refer to this page.Initial contacts with companies or institutions are entirely left to the initiative of each student or recent graduate who must agree on the methods, duration and frequency of the internship depending on the needs of the host institution and on the number of credits that the student wants to acquire.

Activation of a new agreement

If the student wishes to carry out an internship at a company or institution not partnering with University yet, a request for an agreement must be submitted.

Activation of an internship

To start an internship, it is necessary to draw a training project in agreement with the host company. The project will have to be signed both by the company (legal representative and company tutor) and by University (University tutor and President of the Degree course) must be drawn. The student who adheres to an internship offer, is already enabled to fill in the project online. Otherwise the student will have to be authorized by the School administrative contact, Internship Office. In order to be authorized to complete the project online, the student must communicate to internship.scpol@unifi.it the name of the company where he/she intends to carry out the internship and the registration number; once enabled, the student will access the filling in function through the st@ge on line service by selecting“subscriptions”and then "Project management" option. Once completed and printed, the internship project must be delivered with the required signatures at least 5 days before the scheduled start date to the administrative contact of the School. In any case, the internship can only begin after the transmission of the "Training and orientation project". This will be sent by email to the student and to the host institution by the School's Placement and internship Office. The University tutor for extra-curricular internships is Prof. Fabrizia Mealli.University tutors for curricular internships are reported on the websites of the study courses.
